The Bnari Farms Project
The Class of 2023 worked extensively on agriculture as part of the newly introduced Technology and Society Course Challenge at ACity.
The project saw the students get closer to Bnari Farms, a neighbouring vegetable farming community, where they built a formidable relationship with the farming community, and with the innovative use of technology, among others, assisted the local farmers to add value to their processes and produce.

The Ventilator Project
When the global Corona pandemic hit the shores of Ghana in March 2020, it offered students of ACity the unique opportunity to rise up to the task and find solutions to the many challenges brought to light by the spread of the virus in the country.
A daring team of engineering students, under the guidance of our President, engaged in the invention of a ventilator for the good of the community.By connecting our students with communities and activities, we hope to ground our students in the everyday activities of society, beyond the university campus and our families.



Papao Community School Engagement
In a heartfelt initiative, Academic City students dedicated their time and expertise to inspire young minds at Papao Community Presby Basic School. Around 30 students volunteered to teach a diverse range of subjects, including French, Engineering, Biology, and Upcycling, fostering curiosity and a passion for learning among primary and JHS students. This engagement reflects ACity’s commitment to impactful education beyond the classroom, empowering the next generation through knowledge-sharing and mentorship.




ACity’s Leo Club Spreads Joy at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital
The Academic City Leo Club recently brought smiles to children battling cancer at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital through a heartwarming outreach initiative. Club members spent the day engaging young patients in creative activities, including art sessions and interactive games, offering them moments of joy and comfort. This initiative reflects ACity’s commitment to community service, fostering compassion and making a meaningful impact beyond the classroom.



Academic City Empower Orphans with Tech Skills
Academic City partnered with Implementers to host 55 orphans at its Technology and Entrepreneurship Center, providing hands-on training in upcycling, robotics, 3D printing, and laser cutting. The initiative, held in celebration of Kafui Prebbie’s birthday, CEO of The Implementers and TECHAiDE Ltd, aimed to equip the children with essential technology skills, inspiring them to explore innovation and creativity.
