The ACity Student Commitment

The values and ethos of Academic City University College reflect the principles of Excellence, Innovation, Integrity, Leadership and Responsibility. As students of this noble institution, it is incumbent on you all to collectively and individually put these values into practice throughout your stay on campus.

Discover ACity’s Vibrant Clubs & Societies

Student Clubs & Societies at ACity

The Office of Student and Community Affairs leads the development and coordination of co-curricular activities that complement academics and enrich the overall ACity experience.

We work closely with student groups, clubs, societies, and the student governing body  offering guidance, administrative support, and financial assistance to help them thrive. From the early stages of forming a club to managing its activities, we are here to empower students with the skills and tools they need to succeed.

At ACity, we believe every student has leadership potential. Student clubs and societies are a vibrant part of campus life, creating opportunities to learn, lead, and grow beyond the lecture halls while building a strong sense of community.

Academic City Student Council (ACSC)

At Academic City, we value innovation, student development, collaboration, diversity and inclusion, and health and wellness  all essential to maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Our wide range of recreational activities ensures there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Our indoor games include chess, ludo, and checkers, as well as card games, pool, darts, table tennis, and table-top football perfect for unwinding, connecting, and having fun with friends. We also boast a gym, operated through our Recreational Center, where students can maintain their fitness, build strength, and stay active as part of a healthy campus lifestyle.

Through collaboration with faculty and administration, the ACSC organizes academic and social events, leads student initiatives, and ensures that student concerns are addressed. Members of the council gain hands-on leadership experience, honing skills in governance, decision-making, and teamwork preparing them for future leadership roles in their careers and beyond.

The council also works closely with various student clubs, drives campus-wide engagement, and champions student-led projects that contribute to the university’s culture of innovation and excellence.

Civic Engagement

The effect of student growth can only be felt by the contribution that they make to society. Learning to take responsibility for the transformation of the community is a mark of students transitioning into adulthood.

For electronic sports gamers, there is also a plethora of options on gaming consoles to savor, like FIFA, Mortal Kombat, and Call of Duty. These indoor games give students the opportunity to reduce stress from coursework, socialize with friends, enhance creative thinking, and, ultimately, resume rigorous classes with more momentum and productivity.

Additionally, outdoor games in ACity can be extremely competitive. Our active basketball, football, and volleyball teams create a portal for students to demonstrate their athleticism and team spirit.
