Payment Plan
Academic City acknowledges that some students may face challenges in paying their semester tuition and fees all at once. Therefore, we provide the option for these students and their families to enroll in our convenient payment plan. Our plan divides the tuition fees into three manageable payments, along with Academic City's financing fee.

How do I make payment for my application?
Application fees can be paid via wire transfer, cash on campus, mobile money or at an Ecobank branch near you.

Can I get a receipt for my application fee?
After the payment has been completed, please provide proof of payment. An email confirmation will be sent to your email address, and you can obtain the original payment receipt from the Accounts Office.
Who reads applications?
All applications received are read and carefully considered by the Post-Graduate Department Coordinator.
What is Academic City's intake in a year?
Currently, ACity admits graduate students once annually, for the fall semester intake in September. Please refer to the admissions page for specific details regarding the upcoming Academic year.
Can there be a refund of fees after admission or if a student withdraws from the course?
Before classes start, please contact your admissions officer regarding any refunds. Once classes start, contact the registry or finance office for any refunds.
Does Academic City provide financial aid or scholarships for graduate programmes?
We do not offer any scholarships at the moment. However, applicants are encouraged to take advantage of our friendly payment plans. Our plan breaks a student’s tuition fees into 3 payments and includes Academic City’s financing fee. When will my application decision be made?
Upon receiving your submitted application, the Admissions Team will provide a decision within 30 days (Ghana) & 14 days (Other nationals).
I've been accepted. How long do I have to accept the offer of admission?
You must respond to admissions within 1 month of receiving your offer.
What documents do I need to complete the online application?
The only documents you will need are:
- A copy of your degree certificate and transcripts
- Documents from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to justify the equivalence of qualifications (for candidates from foreign institutions)
- A copy of your passport and/or government-issued ID card
A copy of your Curriculum Vitae
*Additional optional documents such as certificates of achievement and/or training may improve your application.
Do we have housing facilities on campus?
Currently, we do not have housing facilities for students enrolled in graduate programmes.
